John Kuehl Travel Fellowship

Graduate students are invited to apply for this fellowship named in honor of the late Fitzgerald scholar John Kuehl of New York University, who passed away in 1998. The number of awards varies, but the amount is $500. Students interested in applying for the Montgomery conference should send the following to the conference email, fitzgeraldintoulouse@gmail.com, with “Kuehl Travel Fellowship Application” in the subject line:

1. a letter of application stating how one’s presentation topic will contribute to Fitzgerald studies;
2. one letter of recommendation from a scholar at the student’s home institution; and
3. a budget showing how the award will be spent.

Because our 2021 will be online due to the Coronavirus pandemic, we will not be offer Kuehl Fellowships until 2023—but we promise our student members will want to apply!
